LA Helicopter Tour
I’m a sucker for a good adventure. But I especially love surprise adventures. J never holds back with his dates and never disappoints. Looking for a jam packed date in the LA area? Look no further.
Stop 1:
Más Cafecito Coffee in La Puente. A hidden gem on a busy street. This cute little coffee truck has some of the best iced coffee I’ve had in my life. I recommend the Spanish Latte and if you’re looking for a pastry the jalapeño cream cheese pastry was perfect.
Stop 2:
Bread and Breakfast in LA. Your new favorite breakfast burrito. I’ve never had Basturma (highly seasoned, air-dried cured beef) before so it was nice to try something new. Their cilantro creamy sauce is perfection. I recommend their Basturma breakfast burrito and their Basturma tacos.
Stop 3:
Group 3 Helicopter Tours in Van Nuys. They have quite a number of tours available. J chose the California Coast & Canyons Tour. A quick 30-minute flight that takes you over Topanga Canyon, down Pacific Coast Highway to the Santa Monica Pier, and over Sherman Oaks. Views for days.
Stop 4:
Fonuts: Enlightened Donuts: Always baked, never fried. What’s a date without good dessert. I loved how they had mini-donuts in almost all the flavors. They were sweet but not too sweet. Moist but not overly moist. And just like the Basturma burrito, they were perfection.
Stop 5:
Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA). A nice museum to stroll around in. It was a bummer the second floor was closed due to construction.
Stop 6:
Blossom Spa in Hollywood. One of the best massages I’ve ever had in my life. So peaceful and relaxing. The entire staff was so nice.
Stop 7:
Nic’s on Beverly. Loved the vibe of the place.
